About this Mod

Ancient Temples adds 3 new temples, and some other smaller features.
It includes a Jungle Temple, a Desert Temple and an Ender Temple, introducing new boss fights with epic rewards.

The Temples/Structures it adds include:
The Desert Temple: A large sandstone pyramid in the desert, housing the remains of an ancient Pharaoh, with a boss battle or two. Awaken and defeat the Ancient Sandstorm to earn the Ankh, a multi-use totem.
The Trial Temple: An ancient sandstone temple housing a variety of battles. Defeat them all to earn the Sun Sceptre, a powerful weapon that, when enchanted deals huge amounts of damage while in sunlight.
The Jungle Temple: A Mayan pyramid, the grave of ancient warriors. Defeat the Stone Guardian to steal his head!
The Ender Temple: A tall temple devoted to the Ender Lord, A four-armed, Sword Wielding Enderman who can summon Ender Phantoms when hit.
The Nether Temple: Hatch the Phoenix egg with a Fire Charge to fight the boss battle! Apparently there's some Netherite in the temple as well...
The Aetherial Library: A huge floating library, guarded by an overzealous Copper Robot Librarian, Dewey.
The Pagoda: A tall tower with loot inside.

There are a three main new resources:
Desert Gold: Desert Gold is what totems are made out of, and is known for its magical, life-giving capabilities. It can be used in a variety of recipes, even in its own special tool set, which is obtained by upgrading ordinary gold equipment with the Desert Gold Smithing Template. Desert Gold is found in the desert (big surprise!), in structures like the Ancient Desert Pyramid.

Ruby: The mystical eye of the Sandstorm, the Ruby can be mined underground. It can be paired with Desert Gold for a variety of cool new items.

Necrosteel: The mystical metal that Spawners are made of. Necrosteel is used to craft the Spawner and the Soul Forge. The Soul Forge is used in turn to craft Spawner Cores, allowing you to change Spawners in survival mode. Necrosteel can be crafted in the Soul Furnace, by combining Netherite, Lapis Lazuli, and Echo Shards, or it can be found in Marble Temples.

There are also a few other important items:
Souls: Kill Soul Spirits in the Nether Temple to harvest their souls, allowing you to use the Soul Forge and Furnace.

Marble: Found throughout the world, it has a normal and a green variant. Great for building Temples.

Sandstone Bricks: Don't know why they didn't already exist, but they are a key part of desert temples.
Scarab Elytra: Not what you think they are - they can be crafted into a Scarab Cloak, allowing you to cancel fall damage by shifting, at the cost of durability. The elytra themselves come from scarabs, who are found in the Desert Trial Temple.

Ancient Vial: Used to capture the mythical - Can store XP, Lightning and Souls. Stand in a Lightning Bolt with it in your main hand to capture some.

The Mobs in the Mod:

Here's a short guide to the main crafting mechanics in the mod:
Soul Smelting

To create Necrosteel, Place an Echo Shard, a Netherite Ingot, and a Lapis Lazuli in the three top slots, along with a Soul in the bottom slot to create Necrosteel. It can then be used to create the Soul Forge and Monster Spawner in the Crafting Table.
Soul Forging

Place Souls in the outer four slots, with a Mob Material (eg. Blaze Rod, Rotten Flesh, or Scarab Elytra) to craft a Spawner Core. Spawner Cores can then be used to activate a Spawner with the desired Mob.
Binding

Use an Enchanted Scroll in the First Slot with a Piece of Enchantable Equipment in the Second Slot to Enchant the item, Free of XP Charge. However, only Unenchanted items can be enchanted, so enchant wisely.

There are a few bugs that I will address as soon as possible, but overall, Ancient Temples will enhance your gameplay, offering new and exciting opportunities.
