Anvil MusBox
Adds Anvil Note Blocks - note blocks that produce anvil sounds when placed on anvils. Supports Jade for instrument display.
About this Mod
Anvil MusBox
Anvil MusBox adds a new decorative and functional block to Minecraft: the Anvil Note Block!
Features
- Anvil Note Block: A special variant of the note block that produces anvil sounds instead of traditional instrument sounds when placed on anvils
- Jade Support: When Jade is installed, the instrument display will show "Anvil" instead of the default note block instrument
- Axe Mineable: Can be mined faster with an axe, just like other note blocks
- Vanilla Compatible: Works seamlessly with vanilla Minecraft mechanics
How to Play
- Craft the Anvil Note Block using the standard note block recipe
- Place it on an anvil
- Hit the block to play the iconic anvil sound!
- Use it in your redstone contraptions or musical creations
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.20.1
- Forge (required)
- Jade (optional, for enhanced instrument display)
Technical Details
This mod modifies the note block behavior to detect when placed on anvils and changes the sound accordingly. The Jade integration is completely optional and the mod functions perfectly without it.
Custom Translation
For custom block translation, use the translation key block.anvil_musbox.anvil_note_box. If this key is not defined, it will fallback to the vanilla block.minecraft.note_block.
