Allows you to configure how channeling should summon lightning! (configurable)
It can be frustrating to have to wait for a thunderstorm just to use channeling. That's why I created this datapack as a solution! With this datapack, you can customize channeling to work in any weather, during rain, or even have a small chance of lightning appearing during rain, with a guaranteed chance during a thunderstorm. And the best part is, it's all customizable!
Warning: 1.21.4+ is not tested yet.

⚙️・Configure how lightning should appear:
Lightning can appear during all weather types.
/scoreboard players set #awc.config.ppl awc.config.sc 1
Lightning can only appear during rain or thunderstorms.
/scoreboard players set #awc.config.ppl awc.config.sc 2
40% chance of lightning during rain and a 100% chance during thunderstorms.
/scoreboard players set #awc.config.ppl awc.config.sc 3
40% chance of lightning during rain and clear weather, and a 100% chance during thunderstorms.
/scoreboard players set #awc.config.ppl awc.config.sc 4
Vanilla (lightning only appears during thunderstorms).

How to Install Any Weather Channeling (AWC) on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Any Weather Channeling (AWC)". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Any Weather Channeling (AWC) server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Any Weather Channeling (AWC) compatible with datapack and fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?
Any Weather Channeling (AWC) officially supports datapack, fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21, 1.20, 1.19.4. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Any Weather Channeling (AWC) – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Any Weather Channeling (AWC) consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
