About this Mod
About
Simple mod that aims to fix many of the problems and limitations with the Vanilla FPS limiter. This includes:
- the ability to set the FPS at any specific value
- the ability to have full control over the FPS slider functionality, including its min/max range and intervals of the slider's snapping points
Every feature above is configurable with the ModMenu mod.
Eventually, I plan to fix some of the Vanilla bugs with how the FPS is actually limited, primarily the bug where the FPS is always capped at roughly ~96% of the value it's set to.
Compatibility
This should already be compatible with any mod that doesn't change the video GUI like Sodium, however, Sodium compatibility is officially implemented. Only 1.20.1+ has been tested, but the mod is simple enough that it will likely work on versions far older.

anyfps server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.3). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is anyfps compatible with fabric?
anyfps officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.3, 1.21.2, 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with anyfps – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if anyfps consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
