About this Mod
A ground-up reimplementation of Apathetic Mobs for 1.16+. This version uses Mixins and shares a common codebase for the Fabric version and the Forge version.
A blacklist for difficulties and mobs has been implemented. Revenge is also available as an option.
Things should work largely the same as they did with 1.12 and the other mod installed.
Mod compatibility:
- Vanilla: 100% (if something doesn't work, open an issue)
- Other mods: untested. If they use vanilla AI goals, they will most likely work. If they use custom AI, compatibility will need to be added.

How to Install Apathetic Mobs Reborn on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.18.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Apathetic Mobs Reborn". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.18.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Apathetic Mobs Reborn consumes the most tick time.
