Disable entities from attacking players. Way too configurable.

Apathy is an overconfigurable port/rewrite of Apathetic Mobs. It allows you to control mob aggressiveness - whether mobs attack players.
You can:
- disable aggression entirely,
- control aggression with a rule system, where mob aggressiveness is dependent on things such as the current world difficulty or the mob's type or tags,
- use a JSON rule system to create exactly the scenario you want, including integration with the vanilla scoreboard, advancements, locations, biomes...
Additionally, you may:
- Disable the Ender Dragon and Wither fight sequences, or make them less aggressive.
- Allow players to opt-in or opt-out of PvE scenarios by adding them to player sets.
Extensive documentation is available on github.

Apathy server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Apathy compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?
Apathy officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.20.1, 1.20. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Apathy – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Apathy consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
