- Ashore has only been tested with a few other boat related mods. Of those tested, all have been compatible. That being said, there may be incompatibilities we don't know of.
- How does block slipperiness affect this mod?
- Ashore uses the higher value of
0.9FornearbySlipperiness. This should result in the same speed as vanilla for slippery vanilla blocks (e.g Blue Ice).

- I am unlikely to port to specific versions, as this mod was made for fun. However, other developers are free to port this mod, as long as they adhere to the conditions of the LGPL-3.0-or-later license.

How to Install Ashore on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Ashore". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Ashore server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Ashore compatible with fabric and neoforge and quilt?

Server lagging with Ashore – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Ashore consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
