About this Mod
The Asoteria is an astrology based dimension with new gems, biomes, entities, and structures. Discover the latent history and secrets of this vast realm.
How to Enter Dimension
Use the Gilded Eyes to fuel the portal structures found across all dimensions and gain access to Asoteria. A nether star is used on the central portal block to open the gateway.
Contraband Portal
A Contraband Lighter can be crafted from all 12 gems and a piece of iron to light a portal which transports non player entities to and from the dimension.
Current Additions
Pre-activated portals exist in Asoteria to return to the surface, but they will eventually run out of fuel. 12 unique gems can be mined in the Asoteria, which can serve as a permanent source of portal fuel.
Biomes
Nova Meadows
The Nova Meadow biome adds a new wood type, the Mallow tree. 4 new plant types generate here, the Chulip, Cloud Thale, Rose Hip, and Thistle Weeds. A new food grows here, the Mallow Berry, which can be turned into a delicious tea.
The Star Bunnies populate the Nova Meadows. The larger Celestial Bunnies are hostile and vigilantly watch those around them. The smaller Dust Bunnies are favorable to Mallow Berries, and adapt to the time in the Overworld when fed a Mallow Berry on the surface.
Several moth variants live in the Nova Meadows. The smaller colorful moths are fully peaceful, but the larger Flare Moth will attack any player that gets too close. The Flare Moth reacts strangely to ice and cold environments.
Future Additions
The next update will add the Shattered Stand biome, full of pink and blue vegetation, frequent rain, and small rodent and flying fish creatures.

How to Install Asoteria on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Asoteria". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Asoteria server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Asoteria compatible with forge and neoforge?
Asoteria officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.20.4, 1.20.1, 1.19.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Asoteria – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Asoteria consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
