About this Mod
📖 Description
The Astral Plane Dimension is a dark and gritty place. Dangerous but also rewarding for players brave enough to enter and conquer it. It's stone is black and Ore Veins are raw and ancient. But gravity surprisingly feels lighter than usual. Prepare yourself well before you look out for a Blackstone Fort which has a Portal leading to the dimension because it is going to be a challenge. When your pockets are filled up with all the treasure, you may leave the Dimension at any time using an Exit Portal.

🛠️ How to, Instructions & Commands
The datapack usually just needs to be installed. There is nothing else you have to do. It just works out of the box.
But if you are playing on a PaperMC Server (or a PaperMC Fork like Purpur) make sure to set allow-non-player-entities-on-scoreboards in your paper config files to true in order for everything to work properly.

How to Install Astral Plane Dimension on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Astral Plane Dimension". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Astral Plane Dimension server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Astral Plane Dimension compatible with datapack and fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?
Astral Plane Dimension officially supports datapack, fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.4, 1.21.4-rc3, 1.21.4-rc2. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Astral Plane Dimension – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Astral Plane Dimension consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
