About this Mod
Attraction
Attraction is a Fabric mod that makes Netherite Blocks and Lodestones magnetic.
You must have Fabric API installed to use the mod.
Magnetism
Lodestones and Netherite Blocks attract anything magnetic, including items, magnetic entities such as Iron Golems or Minecarts, and entities wearing Iron or Netherite armor.
Charged Lodestone
You can charge Lodestones with lightning to create the Charged Lodestone. The Charged Lodestone's magnetism can be inverted with a redstone signal.
You can also increase its strength by surrounding it with copper blocks.
Configuration
The magnetic properties of any block, entity or item can be modified in the config located at config/attraction.json

How to Install Attraction on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Attraction". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Attraction server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Attraction compatible with fabric and quilt?

Server lagging with Attraction – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Attraction consumes the most tick time.
