Avatar: Bending World

This mod aims at bringing the world of Avatar the last airbender to minecraft, adding the ability to bend the four elements, items and creatures from the show.
Note that this mod is still in early developpment and its mechanics are subject to change.

Bending

Upon entering a new minecraft world, a menu will open, letting you choose which of the four element you will be able to bend.
You can then open a second menu (by pressing the "O" key by default) to bind the bending abilities to the hotbar slots of your liking. This menu also allows you to activate/deactivate your bending ability.
The abilities activate by right clicking. Some of them also require you to hold sneak.

To unlock bending abilities, you can open the skill tree by pressing "P" by default.

In order to obtain skill points, you must do something depending on your element:

• Airbenders must jump
• Waterbenders must spend time under water
• Earthbenders must mine earth bendable blocks
• Firebenders must kill mobs or players

Each element also comes with a passive ability:

• Air Benders don't take fall damage
• Water Benders swim very fast
• Earth Benders take less damage when standing on earthbendable blocks
• Fire Benders never stay on fire (but aren't immune to fire damage or lava)

If you want to give yourself Skill Points, you can use the following command:

/bending SkillPoints "amount of skill points to be set"

Changing element

If you have the permission to use admin commands, you can change your element via the command:

/bending element "name of the element"

You can also bend all four elements at once through the command:

/bending element avatar

Items

This mod allows you to craft Boomerangs, Space Swords and Kyoshi Warrior Fans.

Creatures

Sky Bisons

Sky bisons can be found in savanna biomes. Adults can't be tamed, but they can be bred using hay bales. Babies can be tamed using apples.
Once you have tamed a sky bison, you can make it sit and stand by shift clicking it.
You can ride it by clicking it. When riding a sky bison, you can toggle flying by right clicking.

Platypus Bears

Platypus Bears can be found in most Forest Biomes and are very aggressive. When hit, they can drop a Platypus Bear Egg, which can be cooked to get an Omelet.

Flying Lemurs

Flying Lemurs can be tamed using apples and can be found in several high elevation biomes.

Fire Ferrets

Fire Ferrets can be found in bamboo jungles and can be tamed using bamboo.

Otter Penguins

Otter Penguins can be found in frozen oceans and can be bred using raw fish.

World Generation

Structures

This mod adds Fire Temples and Air Temples.

Features

This mod also adds meteorites which generate almost anywhere in the world and can be smelted to obtain space metal.
