Baidan546's Locational Health
Complex mod that reworks the vanilla health system to be locational. Inspired by the popular First Aid mod for Forge Modloaders.
About this Mod
This mod reworks the vanilla health system into 8 locational Body Parts which the player must keep healthy.
It is inspired heavily by First Aid.
The Player's Health can be accessed by pressing "H" to pull up in in-game GUI:

-------------------------------
There are eight body parts:
Head
Chest
Left Arm
Right Arm
Left Leg
Right Leg
Left Foot
Right Foot
Losing ALL health on a particular body part will have negative effects for the player.
Loss of Arm: Level of Weakness applied
Loss of Leg/Foot: Level of Slowness
These effects stack a level for each part broken in said categories.
-------------------------------
The other two parts, the Head and Chest, are VITAL body parts. If a player's head/chest reaching zero hit points, they will die immediately.
Low Chest and Head health will also have negative effects for the player:
Low Head Health: Level of Blindness
Low Chest Health: Level of Nausea
All effects listed above can be disabled for a limited period of time by applying Morphine:

Morphine Crafting Recipe
-------------------------------
Natural Regeneration is also disabled with the new system, and the player must use different types of healing items or potions to restore their health. There are three available tiers of healing items, which heal 1, 3, or five 5HP respectively:

Bandage- 1HP(Takes Any Color of Wool)

Plaster- 3HP(Takes Any Color of Wool)

Bandage Wrap Recipe- 5HP(Takes Any Color of Wool)
This healing is applied over time, for all of the items.
The player's health should also update as health is added by other mods, with the player gaining one heart assigned to a random body part per 1HP added.
Health is applied via a system that gives 1 Heart to each body part before giving each part another heart, and so on.
-------------------------------
Locational Armor, another feature of the original first aid mod, has been added. Armor pieces will protect specific body parts:

Helmet: Head
Chestplate: Arms and Chest
Leggings: Legs
Boots: Feet
The mod uses an automatic scaling system to apply Locational Armor to modded armor pieces. Every armor piece should use it.
-------------------------------
There is also a config file to configure the starting HP of each body part, and some other gameplay features such as a legacy HUD created earlier in development.
Note: PLEASE report any bugs/unusual functionality with this mod or how it interacts with others, as I mostly only looked over the core functionalities of the mod in detail when playtesting. I'll get around to fixing any strange interactions this mod has with others or simply the vanilla game in future builds. I heavily encourage the use of this mod in any modpacks so weird quirks can be flattened out and everything functions smoothly.
Happy Minecrafting!
