About this Mod
A mod for displaying the message of Bilibili live in the chat bar in the game. Just drop it into the mod folder, start the game, and set the room number to connect to the server and realize the function of outputting live message screen in the game.
The specific effect is shown in the figure below:
Forge version:
- 1.12.2 and below use the /BakaDanmaku command to reload the configuration.
- 1.13.2 and above use the shortcut key Alt+B to reload the configuration.
Fabric version: shortcut key B to reload the configuration.
The configuration file is in config/bakadanmaku/bilibili.json in the main directory of the game. It is recommended to use software such as Sublime Text and Visual Studio Code to open this file.
Generally speaking, you only need to modify the room number and enable it, which means you only need to modify the following two places:

How to Install BakaDanmaku on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "BakaDanmaku". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

BakaDanmaku server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is BakaDanmaku compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?
BakaDanmaku officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21, 1.20.4. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with BakaDanmaku – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if BakaDanmaku consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
