About this Mod

Description
Welcome to Bananarangs! This mod adds bananarangs: a boomerang-banana hybrid. They can be thrown at enemies and come back to you when you throw them.
There was a major bug with bananarang collision that affected Bananarangs 1.1 on 1.20-1.20.1. This has now been fixed with Bananarangs 1.2.
Upgrades
Bananarang upgrades can be crafted and applied at a bananarang anvil. 2 upgrades can be applied at a time and some upgrades are incompatible with others. 12 different upgrades are featured in this mod! (with more on the way!)

Bananarang anvil gui:

List of all upgrades:
Damage Upgrade (3 tiers) - increases damage by 1.5 hearts per level
Power Upgrade (3 tiers) - increases throwing power by 40% per level
Flaming Upgrade - lights enemies on fire
Pickaxe Upgade - attach a pickaxe with the anvil which enables block breaking. Levels of efficiency on the pickaxe increase the amount of blocks broken
Sticky Upgrade - items and mobs hit get stuck to the bananarang and return to the player - useful when combined with the pickaxe upgrade!
Explosive Upgrade - explodes on impact (bananarang isn't destroyed)
Piercing Upgrade - pierces through enemies and damage ignores armor (damage decreased by 50%)
Fling Upgrade - does extreme knockback
Crafting
Many crafting recipes require bananas, a new food item created when an apple is dyed yellow (better find some sunflowers)

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Bananarangs consumes the most tick time. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
