Basic Parts - A Flan's Mod Content Pack

An essential pack for the discerning crafter of Flan's Mod tech. Gain access to a wide variety of parts, from barrels and stocks to engines and armour plating.
Each part type has between 3 and 10 options, each made of a different material.
There are also a wide range of munitions, varying in size (pistol rounds to artillery shells) and in effects (armour piercing, explosive or incendiary for example).
Crafting Stations
The Bullet Fabricator and Part Fabricator are your key to making most things in this pack. Place them down and click to see a full list of available recipes

The Fabrication Interface
The fabricator menus have a lot of sections, so let's dig in.
- Input - Place items from your inventory here. For "materials", that is to say anything that has a block, ingot and nugget form or similar, you can input any type and the fabricator will automatically manage the items and split as necessary
- Part Fabrication - The main central panel lists all the recipes available in this fabricator (the Part Fabricator and Bullet Fabricator have different lists!). You can use the tickboxes on the filter bar to only see recipes you can craft, or to restrict to certain tiers of outputs. When you select an item from this list, further details will be displayed in the blueprint area and a summary of how many you can craft will be shown.
- Craft Buttons - Once you have selected a recipe, click to send a craft action to the queue.
- Queue - All the parts you have requested will enter the crafting queue and be processed over time. You can cancel (all but the currently in-progress item) by pressing the X
- Output - Completed crafted items will be placed here. Shift-click them to get them into your inventory or add an item transport system to the fabricator.

Distillation
But how do you get Fiberglass, Polyester, PhanTex and more? That's where distillation comes in. To distill raw materials into advanced polymers, you will need to create a Distillation Cap and at least one Distillation Stack. Some distillation recipes will only need one layer, but some will require up to 3 layers to get every possible output.
Warning: If you run a distillation that has 3 outputs, but only provide one stack below the cap, you will miss out on the deeper fractional outputs. Fortunately, the distillation menu will let you know that this is the case

To assemble the multiblock structure, simply place any number of Distillation Stacks and put a Distillation Cap on top.

Other Materials
You can find two new metals by blasting Iron and Netherite

The precursor for distilling Fiberglass and Kevlar is Silicate, a mix of Sand and Clay

Wood is categorized into 3 broad types, one per tier. You can input logs or planks of the corresponding type
- Soft Wood is Oak, Acacia, Birch and Dark Oak
- Hard Wood is Cherry, Mangrove and Jungle
- Dense Wood is Warped and Crimson

[Coming Soon]
Materials will provide stat modifiers and abilities to the weapons and vehicles you create
