About this Mod

Welcome! This datapack (for 1.21.4!) is one that aims at implementing Ben 10 into Minecraft. Install both the datapack and the resource pack, and type /reload to get started.

(Alternatively, this datapack exists as a fabric mod download on this page as well!)

The following is a trailer for the pack:

= Omnitrix:

The Omnitrix is obtained by discovering an extremely rare, crashed spaceship, where you'll find it inside inside; approach the pod to equip it.

Details:

  • Hold right click to open the Omnitrix; from there, you'll see the interface used for selecting which alien to transform into. If you escaped the interface and want to close the Omnitrix, look and face all the way down.
  • You'll only start with one random alien; to unlock more you must discover remnant alien DNA, found within natural structures. To scan a DNA sample, hold it in your mainhand while opening the Omnitrix. The following is every DNA sample and where to find them:
  • Cooled Magma (Heatblast) - Nether Fortress, Bastion Remnant, Ruined Portal
  • Living Gem (Diamondhead) - Buried Treasure, Stronghold, Woodland Mansion, Ancient City, Mineshaft
  • Beast Hair (Wildmutt) - Dungeon, Woodland Mansion, Shipwreck, Pillager Outpost
  • Foul Mucus (Stinkfly) - Dungeon, Stronghold, Shipwreck, Pillager Outpost, Jungle Pyramid, Ocean Ruins
  • Nanite Glob (Upgrade) - End City, Ancient City
  • Aged Visor (XLR8) - End City, Woodland Mansion
  • Deep Sea Antenna (Ripjaws) - Shipwreck, Ocean Ruins
  • Writhing Tentacle (Ghostfreak) - Ancient City
  • Tiny Brain (Grey Matter) - Stronghold, End City, Woodland Mansion
  • Awkward Skull (Four Arms) - Stronghold, Woodland Mansion, Ancient City, Desert Pyramid, Jungle Pyramid
  • When you transform into an alien, you'll have 5 minutes before you return to human.
  • If you want to transform back to a human without waiting for the Omnitrix to run out of energy, then face all the way down and tap shift (this will NOT work if you were mistransformed; mistransformations have a 17% chance of happening each time you choose an alien to turn into).
  • The Omnitrix takes approximately 3 minutes to recharge; it is unusable during that time.

This is the Omnitrix at full power:

This is the Omnitrix while it's recharging:

= Aliens:

Each alien has their own abilities, though their usage is dependent of this, your Bio-Reserves:
Bio-Reserves

This bar is drained when you use abilities and is refilled naturally over time, so keep an eye on it while in alien form.

Note that all alien abilities necessitate having an empty hand!

HEATBLAST:

  • Hold right click to shoot small fireballs.
  • Hold right click while sneaking to shoot a fire blast.
  • Hold sneak while in midair to propel yourself upwards.

~ You emit light.

~ Coming in contact with water will extinguish you, and disable your moves. You'll reignite naturally after a bit, or you can alternatively set yourself on fire to reignite yourself instantly.

DIAMONDHEAD:

  • Hold right click to shoot crystals from your arm.
  • Hold right click while sneaking to build a wall of crystals wherever you're looking.
  • Press the offhand button to morph your hand into the following: A blade, a shield, a pickaxe, an axe, and a shovel.

~ You have low-tier regeneration.

Wildmutt:

  • Hold W and tap right click while facing a wall to climb it; tap sneak to cancel.
  • While climbing, tap sprint to leap at either a target or another eligible wall to climb.
  • Hold right click to activate echolocation; this will reveal any entity in a large radius.
  • Hold right click while sneaking to charge up a roar; this will knock enemies back.

~ (Set your graphics to 'Fabulous' in order to have the most immersive visual experience as Wildmutt).

~ You cannot hold items as Wildmutt.

XLR8:

  • Hold right click to perform a melee barrage.
  • Hold right click while sneaking to initiate a whirlwind; follow the wind particles in a circle until enough speed is achieved to create the whirlwind.
  • Sprintint into an entity will damage it

~ Sprinting builds acceleration, meaning more speed/damage.

~ At max speed, you become imperceptible to the naked eye.

~ You can run across water.

GREY MATTER:

  • Hold W and tap right click while facing a wall to climb it; tap sneak to cancel.
  • Hold right click while facing an unfamiliar item/block to unlock its recipe.

~ You earn double experience points.

FOUR ARMS:

  • Hold right click to perform a sonic clap; this attack can break glass, foliage, and extinguish fire.
  • Hold right click while sneaking to brace yourself; this reduces incoming damage.
  • Press sprint and sneak at the same time to perform a power jump.

~ If attacking with an empty hand, the target will be hit twice (by your other arm).

~ You have two offhands.

STINKFLY:

  • Hold right click to shoot slime; this slime can slow down enemies and extinguish fire.
  • Look up and hold space to activate flight (sneak to cancel); hold the sprint button while going forwards to fly faster.

~ You cannot activate flight while wet.

RIPJAWS:

  • Hold right click while above water to do a large bite attack.
  • Hold right click while underwater to propel yourself forwards, damaging anything in your wake.

~ When outside of water you will receive the hydration effect, which tells you how much longer you can last without water before enduring the consequences:
Hydration

UPGRADE:

  • Hold right click while in your humanoid form to shoot an optic beam.
  • Look all the way down to enter your sludge form (and all the way up to return to humanoid form); this form allows for easy evasion.
  • While in your sludge form, tap right click while facing an eligible target/block to upgrade it (tap sneak to unmerge); all possibilities are as follows:
  • Piston = Bolstered jumping power, impressive knockback.
  • Dispenser, Dropper = Rapid energy beams via right click.
  • Furnace, Blast Furnace, Smoker = Blasts fire, smelts/cooks items in range of its attack via right click.
  • Minecart = Speedy automobile, tap sprint to force any very nearby entity into its seat.
  • Boat = Submarine, tap sprint to force any very nearby entity inside.
  • Iron Golem = Hovering, tanky automaton; hold right click to defend yourself from all angles with your melee attack.

~ You have mid-tier regeneration, unless you're merged with technology.

Ghostfreak:

  • Press right click to become intangible; movement is different in this state: W, A, S, and D are used for moving your head, and the sprint key is used to float forwards.
  • Flying into an entity while intangible will cause you to possess them (unless it's a player). To unpossess them, become intangible again and fly away from their body.
  • Hold right click while sneaking to expose yourself, frightening any nearby entities and causing them to run away.
  • Look up and hold space to activate flight (sneak to cancel).

Cheats:

Use /function omni-cheats/(cheat) if you want to skip progression. The existing cheats are as follows:

  • /function omni-cheats/give_omnitrix
  • /function omni-cheats/unlock_all_aliens
  • /function omni-cheats/give_all_dna
  • /function omni-cheats/remove_omnitrix
  • /function omni-cheats/disable_mistranformation
  • /function omni-cheats/enable_mistranformation

"/locate omni:omnitrix_ship" can be used to find the spaceship harboring the Omnitrix.
