Special berries that can be eaten for special effects!
About this Mod
Adds 7 different berries that can be eaten for various positive and negative effects.
- Airy Berries: Launches you up into the air and makes you lighter.
- Heavy Berries: Slows you down, fills you up, and makes you bulkier and heavier.
- Spicy Berries: Warms you up, but also sets you on fire.
- Frost Berries: Protects you from burning, but freezes you up.
- Beast Berries: Gives you strength, but also immense hunger.
- Sea Berries: Recovers some air and provides water breathing.
- Sinister Berries: Can be fed to most mobs to make them evil. Eating it yourself has no special effects.
Also adds 5 different status effects that 4 of the berries provide.
- Airy: Negates fall damage until you reach the ground. Increases knockback taken.
- Heavy: Slows you down significantly and makes you fall faster. Decreases knockback taken.
- Warmth: Continuously warms you up if you are freezing.
- Freezing: Continuously freezes you as if you were in powder snow (negated by wearing leather clothing).
- Convection: When eating special berries, their effect will be weakened and given to all surrounding mobs within range.

Available Versions
How to Install Berry Bounty on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Berry Bounty". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Berry Bounty server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Berry Bounty compatible with fabric?
Berry Bounty officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.4, 1.21.3, 1.21.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Berry Bounty – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Berry Bounty consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
