About this Mod
Better Crafter (Fabric 1.21.1)
If you're tired of hoppers clogging up your auto-crafters or having to build massive redstone clocks just to craft a few items, I made this mod to fix that.
It adds the Smart Crafter, which is basically a one-block replacement for complex auto-crafting setups.
Why it’s actually better:
- It doesn't get clogged: You can lock a recipe (ghost slots), and the block forces input slots to only hold 1 item at a time. No more hoppers dumping 64 iron into the wrong slot and breaking the machine.
- No Redstone needed: You can toggle "Smart Mode" to make it craft instantly whenever it has ingredients. No clocks or timers required.
- Lag Friendly: It has an internal buffer for output items, so it doesn't spew entities onto the floor and lag your server.

How to Install Better crafter on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Better crafter". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Better crafter server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
