About this Mod

This server side mod adds a mechanic that lets you respawn near your death location.

Features

The minimum and maximum distance from your death location is configurable.
You will still respawn at your bed if you return from the end or if you die in another dimension.
You will also respawn at your bed/respawn anchor if you are within a certain distance of it (Configurable).

How to Install Better Respawn on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Better Respawn". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Better Respawn server crashes on startup – what to do?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Better Respawn consumes the most tick time.
