Hello and welcome to Better than Bread! Better than Bread is an expansion for Farmer's Delight mod, adding more pastry to the Minecraft!

🫙 Butter
We've added butter, and a manual butter churn!
To use it, you pour into a churn 1 bucket of milk, and then mix it with a stick 5 times.
After you've mixed it well, take it out using Shift+RMB, and voila! Here's a fresh stick of butter!

Currently, we have Croissants, Pain au Chocolat, Cinnamon and a Porkpie.

How to Install Better than Bread on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Better than Bread". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Better than Bread server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Better than Bread compatible with fabric?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Better than Bread consumes the most tick time.
