💖 Always wanted to kiss your friends?
Better With Friends its an mod that gives player buffs when they make actions with friends, and kiss!
Type uwu or *kiss* in chat within 2 blocks of a living entity to kiss.
After 3 kisses, you gain the Kind status effect for 4 minutes 30 seconds.
- While Kind is active, hostile mobs still spawn but will not attack you.
- While Kind is active, hostile mobs near you will "kiss" you automatically (hearts + purr).
Press the emotion keybind (default G, changeable in Controls) to open a quick emote menu that says a phrase and instantly kisses or pats a nearby friend!
This mod can be customized via Settings -> Skin Customization

- Holding hands sends a request. If accepted, the requester follows the other player until they crouch!
- Walk together for 5 seconds to gain Haste I while you stay close.
- Sleeping next to a friend grants 5 seconds of Saturation and Regeneration on wake-up.

How to Install Better With Friends! (BWF) on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Better With Friends! (BWF)". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
