About this Mod
a simple lightweight mod that improves the minecraft environment for arrows and bow PvP/PvE.
it modifies certain game mechanics and allows features such as -
- arrows to pass through leaves & snow
- arrows can breaks glass and ice
- arrows with flame melt ice instead of breaking it
- flame arrows can burn leaves and start fires
- arrows can bounce off certain blocks slime
- removes annoying and glitchy projectile trails
- arrows slide off honey blocks
- removed annoying arrow trail
None of these features are intended to work with dispensers. This is so that none of the existing farms/redstone contraptions break.
DONT USE THIS ON ANY PvP servers... this WILL get you banned.
this mod is only for improving the experience in private survival servers or PvE.
i agree this mod is amazing and every bow duels sever should use it but it can be considered hacking :(
there are plans on making all these features customizable in modmenu

How to Install BetterBowEnv on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "BetterBowEnv". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if BetterBowEnv consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
