BetterDirectConnect
A small client-side QoL mod for Fabric that upgrades the Direct Connect feature from vanilla.
When you join servers through Direct Connect, BetterDirectConnect keeps a recent history and shows it directly in the Direct Connect screen as compact, clickable entries. Click an entry to instantly reconnect.
If a server favicon is available, it’s shown next to the entry.

How to Install BetterDirectConnect on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "BetterDirectConnect". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

BetterDirectConnect server crashes on startup – what to do?
