About this Mod
Better Eats is a performance-focused visual overhaul for Minecraft 1.21.4-1.21.11 that fixes one of the game's oldest "clutter" issues: the intrusive eating animation.
How It Works
In standard Minecraft, consuming food or potions triggers an animation that swings the item into the center of your camera, physically blocking your crosshair and a large portion of your screen.
Better Eats utilizes lightweight Mixins to intercept this animation logic. Instead of moving to the center of your face, the item remains statically rendered in its natural "held" position in the corner of your screen. You still see the particles and hear the crunching sounds, but your view remains 100% unobstructed.

How to Install BetterEats on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "BetterEats". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

BetterEats server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
