The Better Sculk mod is a small mod that adds 2 new Sculk blocks that can replace the original Sculk block, if a mob that died dropped a high amount of experience.
It is meant to reward the farming of valuable monsters, by adding 2 new tiers of Sculk that store a higher amount of experience per block.
Green Sculk
- Drops 2 XP when destroyed.
- Only generated by the Sculk Catalyst.
- Can only replace the Sculk block when being generated.
- Only spawns if the mob that died dropped at least 10 experience.
- Cannot be insta-mined by unenchanted hoes.
Pink Sculk
- Drops 4 XP when destroyed.
- Only generated by the Sculk Catalyst.
- Can only replace Green Sculk when being generated.
- Only spawns if the mob that died dropped at least 20 experience.
- Can only be insta-mined by using Haste in combination with hoes enchanted with Efficiency.

How to Install Better Sculk on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.19.3).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Better Sculk". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Better Sculk server crashes on startup – what to do?
