About this Mod

BetterTeamChat

This minecraft/fabric mod allows the user to automatically send their messages to their team or a specific player, without the need to use the default commands.

How to use:

Set the current target for plain text chat messages with /stdChatGlobal, /stdChatTeam or /stdChatPlayer <Player>, the current state can be queried with /stdChat.

If the current state isn't global, but one specific message should be sent in the global chat, /globalmsg <global message> should be used.

How to Install BetterTeamChat on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "BetterTeamChat". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
