About this Mod

This is a simple mod that allows you to place your tools as blocks in the world.

Right click + Shift with a tool that is efficient for that block, like shovels on grass or axes on wooden blocks, etc.

It's useful when you want to save inventory space or simply to perserve your tool at a specific place in case you die.

Currently works mainly with vanilla-like tools and has support for the following mod tools:

Acknowledgment: This mod ports functionality from the Better Than Wolves Mod, which was created by FlowerChild and is currently maintained by the CE Team. Link to the original mod -> here

Frequently Asked Questions

Bind server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Bind compatible with fabric?

Bind officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Bind – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Bind consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
