About this Mod

Biome fest is a biome mod that aims to add interesting and unique biomes that fit into minecraft while not adding any new blocks.
I plan on making another version with custom blocks and items for more imaginary biomes.

Below all the biomes are listed:

  • Amberwood Forest
    • A redish-orange oak forest found in colder climates.
  • Ancient Oak Forest
    • A rare forest with giant oak trees reaching up to 78 blocks high.
  • Birch Grove
    • A birch forest with tall trees and flowers.
  • Birch Shrubland
    • A flat plains like biome with small birch bushes and coarse dirt.
  • Blackstone Barrens
    • A desolate biome covered in blackstone, obsidian and lava pools.
  • Blasted Highlands
    • A barren biome covered in cobblestone and obsidian, found in mountains and colder areas.
  • Deadwood Grove
    • A rare biome filled with dead trees, coarse dirt, and cobwebs.
  • Deep Ocean Trench
    • A rare ocean biome with sea pickles and seagrass. Most commonly found around mushroom islands.
  • Dry Grassland
    • A dry biome filled with tall grass.
  • Flowering Forest
    • Oak trees with azalea leaves and high amounts of various flowers.
  • Mosslands
    • A rare biome filled with moss, pools, and azalea trees.
  • Overgrown Oak Forest
    • A forest biome filled with dark oak and oak trees, densely packed.
  • Sparse Forest
    • Moderate amounts of oak and birch trees.
  • Umbrella Forest
    • A rare jungle biome filled with large trees of jungle wood, Extremely dense.

How to Install Biome Fest on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Biome Fest". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Biome Fest server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
