Block That Action
a mod that allowes you to block interactions with blocks a crude example would be a chest or crafting table
About this Mod
🔒 Block That Action!
A lightweight utility mod that allows you to block interactions with specific blocks in Minecraft.
Whether it's a chest, a crafting table, or any other interactable block, this mod gives you control over what players can (or can’t) interact with
🛠️ Originally Designed for Conquest
This mod was originally built with Conquest Survival in mind. In Conquest, many blocks have toggleable visual states (like beams, door frames, or supports). During normal gameplay, it’s easy to accidentally activate these models when interacting with functional blocks like doors or tables.
To prevent this and preserve immersion, this mod lets you lock interactions on selected blocks—ensuring you don’t unintentionally change their appearance.
🧰 How It Works
Block interaction restrictions are configured through the mod’s config file. You can:
- 📝 Specify restricted blocks directly in the config
- 🛠️ Designate a tool (also set in the config) that players can use to override or toggle restrictions
By default, this tool is just a regular minecraft:stick.
- 👉 Right-click with the tool to bypass restrictions temporarily
- 🔄 Shift + right-click to toggle a block’s restriction on or off
🌍 Use Cases
- 🏗️ Creative Builds – Prevent unwanted interaction with decorative blocks
- 🧱 Immersive Survival – Keep visual toggles in place without interference
- 🔧 Custom Maps & Adventure Worlds – Control how players interact with the environment
🔧 Compatibility
- ✅ Client-Side Only – Use it solo to block interactions locally
- ✅ Server-Side Only – Enforce restrictions on multiplayer servers
- ✅ Client + Server – For the best experience and full control
