About this Mod
Blockgame Journal
A mod for Blockgame that adds a journal to help you keep track of recipes and other useful information.
This mod uses the same Minecraft version required by the Blockgame server.
This is an unofficial mod for Blockgame and is not affiliated with the Blockgame team.

How to Use

When you preview a recipe (right-click) at an vendor's crafting station, the recipe will be added to your journal. Each time you view the recipe, it will be updated with the latest information.

- Items with a yellow background are items you have learned the recipe for, but have since been updated.
Viewing the Journal
To open the journal, press J by default, or run the command /journal.
The journal contains several tabs:
- Favorites: Save your favorite recipes for quick access.
- Global Search: Search all known recipes.
- Vendor Search: Search for vendors and their respective recipes
- Ingredient Search: Search for recipes by their ingredients

Blockgame Journal server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Blockgame Journal compatible with fabric?
Blockgame Journal officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.4, 1.20.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Blockgame Journal – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Blockgame Journal consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
