About this Mod
Blockified!
This is a mod I created for my own enjoyment, because, why not? Also thought of releasing it so here it is!
This Mod will be getting a COMPLETE OVERHAUL!!
I've decided myself I would not use MCreator anymore. I actually want to remake this from scratch using IntelliJ using the provided files I already have.
What's to come?
- There will be more blocks and weapons, each with their own unique recipe
- maybe a new dimension
- mobs(?)
and many more to come...perhaps you can suggest some ideas!
What's already added
There's Tar Blocks, Tar Ingot, and Hot Tar that deals damage, and Bog Blocks! And Ice Blocks that are resistant to explosions!
Cheaper recipes for expensive items
- Anvil uses smooth stone!
- You can craft leash/leads
- Turn any wool back into string
and new recipes for existing minecraft blocks and items!!
and a sword called The Sword of Experience, along with its' axe counterpart!
Available Versions
How to Install Blockified on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Blockified". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Blockified server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Blockified compatible with fabric?
Blockified officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Blockified – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Blockified consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
