The Infection System
A mysterious blood infection spreads throughout the world with advanced mechanics:
- Multi-Block Infection: Infected Blocks, Infected Logs, and Infected Planks all actively spread corruption to nearby compatible blocks in all directions
- Player-Influenced Spread: Infection spreads faster when players are nearby, creating dynamic danger zones
Infected Mobs & Transformation
Face off against a variety of corrupted creatures:
- Infected Mobs: Cows, Pigs, Chickens, Sheep, Infected Bunnies, Infected Cats, Infected Iron Golems, and more!
- Transformation Mechanics: When non-infected mobs are killed by infected mobs or die from the Infection Toxin, they transform into infected versions
- Aggressive AI: Infected mobs break doors and chase targets relentlessly
- Spawn Eggs: All infected mobs have spawn eggs available in the creative tab

- Infected Apple: Crafted from 1 apple surrounded by 8 Infected Flesh pieces * Infected Sword: Combine a Handle with 2 Infected Ingots for a weapon that applies Infection Toxin
- Armor Crafting: Create full infected armor sets using Infected Flesh as the primary material
Brewing the Cure
- Cure Potion: Brew an Awkward Potion with an Infected Apple to create the vital Cure Potion
- Effect: Removes the "Infected" status effect when consumed
⚡ Key Mechanics
Infection Toxin Effect
- Harmful Effect: Constantly drains health of affected entities
- Triggered By: Stepping on Infected Blocks or being attacked by infected mobs (10% chance)
The Infected Effect
- Progressive Disease: Starts as Infected I, can progress to Infected II
- Level I: Lasts 2 minutes, progresses to Level II when timer reaches 1 tick
- Level II: Causes nausea effects, death results in transformation to Infected Block
- Removal: Can be cured using Cure Potions

/gamerule doInfectionSpread false - Mob Death Spread: When infected mobs die, they leave behind an Infected Block at their location
