Long boats

This mod adds variants of vanilla Minecraft boats which are roughly three times the size.
They fit 5 entities and the players sitting in the three spots with paddles can all steer the boat simultaneously!

Variants

Long boats are currently available in 7 variants. More variants (including the pale oak from 1.21.4 and a raft)
are planned to be added in the future, but polishing out the bugs is a priority in the current alpha stage of the mod.

Crafting

Combining two vanilla boats of the same type in a shapeless recipe gives a long boat of the same type.

Steering

The boat speed will gradually increase with the number of paddling players up to roughly three times the speed of
a vanilla boat (with all three players paddling). Players can steer the boat simultaneously.

Player sitting in the rear has the most and player in the front has the least control over the boat direction.
All the players have an equal control over the boat forward speed, which is slower than a vanilla boat when just one
player is paddling.

Disclaimer

The mod is currently in an alpha stage and the behavior of long boats might still be inappropriate in some cases.
