About this Mod
This mod is centered around adding machines to minceraft, sort of like Create. Broken Ridges was heavily inspired by Create and Create: Northstar. If you have suggestions please wait as I will make a discord soon. Until then enjoy this early mod and I will continue updating it.
Broken Ridges is a mod developed by Venovee aiming to add multiple new materials and machines to not only enhance the vanilla gameplay experience but to add to it too. This mod is actively being worked on and all versions will be uploaded to the versions repository. This mod is actively in development and not ready for a full release so bugs will be expected. This mod currently runs on the Fabric mod loader with the exception of the first mod file. Fabric 1.21.8 and the required Fabric API are required to play this mod. With that being said, the mod is currently playable, enjoy!

How to Install Broken Ridges on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.10).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Broken Ridges". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Broken Ridges server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.10). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Broken Ridges compatible with fabric and forge?
Broken Ridges officially supports fabric, forge for Minecraft 1.21.10, 1.21.9, 1.21.8. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Broken Ridges – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Broken Ridges consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
