About this Mod
This mod uses a modified version of Fabric (Babric) and is designed only for Better than Adventure, a heavily modified version of Minecraft b1.7.3!

BTA Breeding
About
This mod backports the more modern breeding and mob following mechanics into BTA. Breed animals together with food to have them create baby versions of the animal, fed and child animals will become persistent and no longer despawn too.
Features
- Can now feed animals with food
- Fed animals can produce children
- Feeding children makes them grow up faster
- Fed animal or children of animals no longer despawn

- Sheep - Flowers and Tall Grass
- Cows - Wheat
- Pigs - Mushrooms
- Chickens - Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds
- Wolves - Meat
- Default - The same as the animal's follow item, if set.

How to Install BTA Breeding on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set bta-babric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the bta-babric loader and matching Minecraft version (b1.7.3).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "BTA Breeding". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

BTA Breeding server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong bta-babric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (b1.7.3). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is BTA Breeding compatible with bta-babric?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if BTA Breeding consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
