About this Mod
Buff Banners
Features
Spawn-Based Banner Drops
- 5% chance for trackable hostile mobs to spawn wearing their own banner
- Killing these special mobs drops their banner item
- Supported mobs: All vanilla hostile mobs except:
- Ender Dragon
- Wither
- Elder Guardian
Aura Radius & Clustering

Place a banner to create a mob-specific combat zone:
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Base Radius | 16 blocks |
| Support Radius | 5 blocks (between banners) |
| Radius per Support | +8 blocks |
| Maximum Radius | 128 blocks |
How it works: Only same-type banners within 5 blocks of the main banner count as supports. Each support banner increases the main banner's effective radius.
Buff Effects
Players inside an banner radius receive powerful combat bonuses:
- +35% attack damage against that mob type
- 35% reduced incoming damage from that mob type
Visuals
- Hold any mob banner (main hand or offhand) to display the buff radius using particles.
