Buttonz
Adds utility shortcuts to the left side of your inventory screen.
About this Mod
Buttons
Buttons is a mod that adds utility shortcuts to the left side of your inventory screen. These buttons will be displayed when any container (Chest, Furnace, etc) is open. Similar to the old buttons from NEI at the top left of the screen.
Some of the available buttons:
- Gamemode changing
- Weather changing
- Time changing
- Item deletion
- Healing/Hunger filling
A brief video showcasing some of the features can be found here. It is somewhat old, but gets the point across.
Note: Textures are currently very work in progress. I am not an artist and my artist is AWOL.
Buttons is focused on providing stability, performance, and ease of use.
An API is provided so that other mods may add utilities themselves.

Buttonz server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.10.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Buttonz compatible with forge?
Buttonz officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.10.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Buttonz – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Buttonz consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
