Prevent chat messages sent by players from appearing to other players.

Players

This mod should not be installed on the client. Players do not need it.

Standalone servers

This mod could technically be used to disable the chat on standalone Fabric servers — but messages will still be sent to the server console. This may be useful if a mod relies on chat input for data entry.

Proxies (Bungeecord, Velocity, etc.)

This mod is intended to be installed on your backend Fabric servers. It prevents messages from being broadcast to other players, but still allows the message to be processed by the server.

It is intended for situations where a chat handling plugin (i.e. HuskChat) is used on your proxy, but you still need messages to be passed through to your backend server, e.g. for Discord Integration.
