About this Mod
Captured Serenity is a project that adds dimensions with various biomes, structures, and a spooky events that happen within said dimensions.
The Depths and Captured Serenity
- The Depths is a dark and gloomy in-between that can be found after going through a certain portal near bedrock. It contains odd repeating structures and twisted bleedthough from other dimensions.
- Captured Serenity is a serene and familiar place that can be found after digging deeper in The Depths. It seems to have belong to other players at one point in time.
Structures Within
- You can find various structures within both of these dimensions. Structures can range wildly in size, and be decorative or have an actual use.
- Little bits and pieces of lore can be found in structures. Snoop around in places you should(n't) be and you can probably start piecing things together.
Spooky Events
- While in the new dimensions, some new things happen. For example, after ~10 minutes a 'cycle' will happen. it is essentially the dimensions' version of a day/night.
- sometime in-between these cycles an actual spooky event will happen, which is usually something odd happening nearby. (as of now, these don't destroy blocks or kill the player)
TLDR; in the overworld, Find a doorway near bedrock to reach The Depths. In The Depths, reach the top of the ceiling to go back to the overworld. In The Depths, Find a way to once again get beneath the bedrock to reach Captured Serenity. in Captured Serenity, find The Complex and reach the top.
Disclaimers:
-Captured Serenity was made in ~2-3 weeks for PMC's Colors of Fall Community Event Jam
-Captured Serenity is heavily inspired by several ARGs and/or horror mods. The most notable of which being Zeemyth's "Pandor.avi" webseries
