About this Mod
This mod provides with an alternative to getting your items back after death, somewhere in between Keep Inventory and those 5min item despawn times. This mod make your body drop on death and all you have to do is to find your old body to retrieve your stuff. The Carcass doesn't despawn if there's items in its inventory but it will turn to a skeleton after an hour, purely a cosmetic change.
Theres also a few config options to help tailor your experience, like who can access your carcass or not and if the carcass should despawn after a chosen amount of time.

How to Install Carcass on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Carcass". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Carcass server crashes on startup – what to do?
