About this Mod
MAIN FEATURES
This Mod is simple, it adds Armor and Tools out of Carrots!
Everything you can craft in this mod also has an alternate Golden Carrot version!
Getting started
to get your hands on these orange goodies you just need to combine 4 carrots with 1 copper ingot to get a Carrot Ingot (or Golden Carrot Ingot).

from there on you can use your new ingots to craft new tools and armor! The recipes are the same as with any other material in minecraft!
Carrot Arrows
Carrot Equipment also adds Carrot & Golden Carrot Arrows!
they are cheap alternatives to regular arrows.
And incase of the golden carrot arrows, it also deals extra damage!

This Mod was originally my very first datapack ever, it was not all that good, had some bugs and was more so me testing the waters with creating mods/datapacks.
I decided to give it the proper glowup it deserved and expand upon it!
The original datapack will also stay on this page for archive purposes

How to Install Carrot Equipment on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Carrot Equipment". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Carrot Equipment server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Carrot Equipment compatible with datapack and fabric and forge and neoforge and quilt?
Carrot Equipment officially supports datapack, fabric, forge, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.4, 1.20.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Carrot Equipment – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Carrot Equipment consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
