About this Mod
Cartographer's Gift
The first time you walk into a village, a finished map of it appears in your inventory: pre-filled, named, locked, and stamped with who discovered the place first.
What it does
Every player gets their own map for each village they personally find. The first time you enter a village, a complete map of the surrounding terrain appears in your inventory automatically. No crafting table, no empty map, no filling it in square by square. It arrives already drawn, already named, and already carrying the discovery record.
A challenge-complete sound plays and an actionbar message confirms the find the moment it happens.
How it works
-The map is named after the village's biome: Plains, Desert, Savanna, Taiga, Snowy, or Swamp.
-The tooltip credits the very first person to discover that village, along with the coordinates and the Minecraft day it was first found.
-If you are the first to arrive, the map records you as the discoverer. If someone beat you to it, your map shows "First discovered by [name]" with their details instead. Either way, you still get your own copy.
-Maps are locked, so the recorded terrain and discovery info stay fixed.
Because everyone generates their own maps, each player builds a personal atlas of the villages they have explored, while the discovery credit stays with whoever truly got there first. Frame them, trade them, or build a wall of every village your group has found.
Works everywhere, only the host installs it
Single-player and multiplayer both work. The mod only needs to be installed wherever the world is hosted: your own game in single-player, or the server in multiplayer. Friends can join a multiplayer world with a plain vanilla client and still collect maps, no extra install on their end.

Notes
A small heads-up for established worlds: the first time the mod runs, players will receive maps for every new village they enter, so expect a brief flurry of gifts as your group revisits familiar territory.
