About this Mod
Climbing Mod
This mod is an attempt to recreate mechanics from Roblox's game "Climbing Game" by TheBigC10. Check it out too!
The Climbing Game's mechanics are inspired by "Peaks Of Yore", so you might find it similar to that game.

The holds.
Stone button - Hold. A normal hold, doesn't drain stamina, recovers stamina while hanging on it.
Crimson button - Grip. Same thing as normal hold, but to grab it you need to press jump on it.
Polished blackstone button - Crumble. A crumbling hold, which breaks after 3 seconds after you grab it.
Warped button - Crimp. Acts like a normal hold, except it drains stamina while you hang on it.
Bamboo button - Release. Basically a Crimp, but drains stamina way faster.
Packed ice in Item frame - Slippery. This is a wall that you can grab on, and while you hanging, it slides you to the bottom.
Red sandstone in Item frame - Kick. Same as slippery, but it doesn't slide you to the bottom, and also gives you extra horizontal boost.
Compatibility
This mod is not compatible with mods that move blocks in any form; will be unplayable on servers that have anti-cheat.
Troubleshooting
If you switch between mod versions and something broke or doesn't work - delete config file. Most of the times it solves your problems.

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.10). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Climbing Mod compatible with fabric?
Climbing Mod officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.10. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Climbing Mod – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Climbing Mod consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
