About this Mod
This mod is an unofficial port of the Champions mod for higher version of minecraft. This version is currently under limited testing and may contain bugs.
If you encounter any issues, please report them to us instead of TheIllusiveC4.
This port is permitted by TheIllusiveC4 and development will stop once an official update is released. However, enhancement updates, such as additional ranks, are planned for this version from 1.18.2. When the official version of Champions are released, this mod will be rewritend as a addons for Champions.
Champions is a mod that adds elite mobs of different rarities, with enhanced stats, extra abilities, and extra loot. These champions can spawn from any hostile mob in the game.
Champions now support kubejs, that allow you to register your custom affix work with champions.

How to Install Champions-Unofficial on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.5).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Champions-Unofficial". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Champions-Unofficial server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.5). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Champions-Unofficial compatible with forge and neoforge?
Champions-Unofficial officially supports forge, neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.5, 1.21.3, 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Champions-Unofficial – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Champions-Unofficial consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
