Adds several "Charged" Curios or Trinkets for balanced gameplay. Charms included are regeneration, absorption, speed, totem of undying and hit mob glow effect.

About this Mod
Charged Charms is a mod that adds several "Charged" charms that are designed to have a set number of charges for the given effect. This allows for balanced server play when utilizing the charm abilities.
Each Charged Charm can be recharged with an item corresponding to the charm (up to 5 charges). REI and JEI recipe compatible for recharge recipes.
Features

Charged Regeneration Charm
- Charged with any edible item that doesn't have negative effects
- When player health is below 35% health, will use a charge to apply a heal effect

Charged Absorption Charm
- Charged with any edible item, without negative effects, that has nutrition > 4 (More complex or cooked foods)
- When player takes damage from most sources, will use a charge to apply 2 hearts of absorption
- Has a 20 second cooldown

Charged Glow Up Charm
- Charged while in sunlight
- Gives mobs a “Glow up” (glowing effect) after mob is hit for 30 seconds

Charged Speed Charm
- Charged with sugar
- When player jumps while sprinting, Speed effect is triggered for 180 seconds (3 minutes)
- Has 120 second cooldown (2 minutes)

Charged Totem Charm
- Charged with Totem of Undying
- Will use a totem when player dies
Charged Enchanted Totem Charm
- Charged with Biome Makeover Enchanted Totem of Undying
- Will use a totem when player dies

How to Install Charged Charms on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Charged Charms". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Charged Charms server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Charged Charms compatible with fabric and forge and neoforge?
Charged Charms officially supports fabric, forge, neoforge for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 26.1. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Charged Charms – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Charged Charms consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
