About this Mod

ChatItem is a lightweight Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21.4 that lets players share exactly what they’re holding directly into chat. With a single command, /chatitem, the mod captures your current item’s display name, tooltip (including enchantments and custom lore), and broadcasts it to everyone on the server. A 15-second cooldown prevents accidental or intentional spamming, so you can still show off your gear without clogging the chat.

What this mod does

Introduces a new command, /chatitem, which, when executed, displays the item in your main hand (name + full tooltip) to all players.
Automatically formats the chat message so that other players see item details exactly as if they hovered over it in an inventory window.

How to Install ChatItem on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.5).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "ChatItem". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
