About this Mod
Quality of Life
This datapack makes Netherite Ingots and Netherite Upgade Smithing Templates cheaper by approximately 25%. It is ideal for anyone who wishes to get the full Minecraft experience but prefers to have the monotonous grindy parts shortened.
- Release 1.1: Adds a small chance (equal to the armor trim's) for Netherite Scrap to spawn in fortress chests and balances by equally reducing the chance of finding diamonds in them. This adds Netherite to the game's natural progression.
Execution
- This is an extremely simple and generic datapack that served me well as a beginner project.
- No AI was used.
- The game balance remains practically the same.

How to Install Cheaper Netherite on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Cheaper Netherite". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
