About this Mod

ChewStuff adds Chew Necklaces to the game! These interact with status effects (potion effects) and makes them last twice as short, but they can only interact with so many effects at once.

To craft a Chew Necklace requires one (1) string and one to three (1-3) silicone (not to be confused with silicon). The Soft Chew Necklace requires one (1) silicone and binds to one (1) effect, the Medium Chew Necklace requires two (2) silicone and binds to two (2) effects, and the Hard Chew Necklace requires three (3) silicone and binds to three (3) effects. Once the effects run out, a cooldown starts and the process repeats.

This mod was created for ModFest: Singularity. It's a refresh/complete rewrite of the following older mod of ours: https://aam.autistic.space/

ChewStuff officially supports fabric, quilt for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with ChewStuff – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if ChewStuff consumes the most tick time.
