About this Mod

Chickens 2: The Beakquel

This is a reimagining of the original Chickens mod.

We have changed how the core gameplay loop works and moved away from the chickens laying resources to laying eggs.

These eggs can be used for hatching new chickens or opened to get resources from them.

Chickens 2 still comes with the ability to breed better traits into your chickens for faster production however now chickens come with a lifespan.

Once a chicken's lifespan has reached its end the chicken will disappear and will need to be replaced by breading a new one.

New blocks:

Incubator

Used to incubate your eggs to hatch new chickens

This will only accept eggs that are viable to hatch.

Eggs tend to require specific temperatures and humidity to stay healthy

Egg cracker

Used to open eggs automatically for the resources inside

Ovoscope

Used to determine if an egg is still viable automatically.
