About this Mod

Create delicious chocolate milk out of cocoa beans!

Choccy adds chocolate milk, a new drink that resrotes hunger points and retains milk's property of clearing all status effects when you drink it. Chocolate milk comes in two flavours: buckets and bottles you can craft in cauldrons.

Recipes

Chocolate Milk Buckets can be crafted with four Cocoal Beans and a Milk Bucket.

Cocoa Powder can be crafted with four Cocoa Beans.

Chocolate Milk can be crafted with Cocoa Powder and a Milk Bucket.

If you really want to, you can craft Cookies with Cocoa Powder instead of Cocoa Beans.

You can also combine Milk and Cocoa Powder in a bucket to get Chocolate Milk.

Data packs

Choccy introduces a new item tag: #choccy:chocolate_milk_dry_ingredients. It determines what you can add to milk to craft Chocolate Milk. By default, it only contains Cocoa Powder.

Modpacks

You're free to include Choccy in your modpacks, just note that I probably won't release updates.

How to Install Choccy on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Choccy". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Choccy server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Choccy compatible with fabric?

Choccy officially supports fabric for Minecraft 26.1.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Choccy – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Choccy consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
